If you are like 95% of the rest of the internet users, you probably have a Facebook account. Well now you can easily add the current days DealDotCom deal to your profile so you can always see whats being featured and maybe even earn an affiliate commission or two. To get started simply follow the below steps.

Step 1: Log into your account at http://www.facebook.com

Step 2: Go to http://apps.facebook.com/dealdotcom/

Step 3: Click on the “Log in to DealDotCom” button

Step 4: Click on the “Add DealDotCom” button

Step 5: The new application is now added and next you need to modify the URL to use your affilaite URL. Click on “Click Here”

Step 6: Enter the full affiliate URL starting with http:// and then select submit

Congratulations, now you can see the DealDotCom deal for that day anytime you log in to your FaceBook account and best of all if anyone visits your profile and clicks the link and signs up, they will be using your affiliate link

How Can I Promote DealDotCom?

1. Implement Our RSS Feed on your site or blog

Simply add your affiliate ID to the end of the “Product Specific” RSS Feed URL like so….

http://www.dealdotcom.com/rss/Enter-ID-Here

…so if your affiliate ID was 1000, then the link would look like…

http://www.dealdotcom.com/rss/1000

…and like magic, your affiliate link is inserted into the rss feed.

2. Install a WordPress Plugin on your blog.

Important: Last But NOT Least - Affiliate Tracking

DealDotCom understands the power of analytics and so should you. We have recently enabled you with the power of campaign tracking from both the direct link way to now also including the rss feed.

Creating a campaign is incredibly easy and this is all you have to do.

1. Think of a campaign name. So for example, say I paid a high profile blogger to write a post about DealDotCom on their blog and lets say that bloggers name is George. Well you simply add the name “george” to the end of your link like so..

http://www.dealdotcom.com/invite/1000/george
(replace the 1000 with your affiliate id)
or

http://www.dealdotcom.com/rss/1000/george
(replace the 1000 with your affiliate id)

…and you are all set. The system will automagically add the campaign in your account area and start tracking every single sign up and purchase made from that link. Once you have started to use the campaign tracking you will be able to see it in your account area.

If you click the “show me my campaigns” you will see how many sign ups and how many orders in total for the individual campaigns.

Well that is about it. We will link directly to this post from the “Your Account” page and will update this page as we change and update things.

We have now taken this to ludicrous speed (Spaceballs fan’s will appreciate that)!

…well, this is all nice and good however it really did not provide any benefit to our faithful and really cool affiliates. So now all you have to do is add your affiliate ID to the end of the URL like so….

…so if your affiliate ID was 1000, then the link would look like…

…and like magic, your affiliate link is inserted into the rss feed.

One of our code monkeys (we call him Mr. Chips.. but please do not ask why because he gets upset) has been working over time and he has now enabled affiliate tracking supreme. You can now also add affiliate campaign tracking to your RSS feed.
