FaceBook App for DealDotCom
October 24, 2007If you are like 95% of the rest of the internet users, you probably have a Facebook account. Well now you can easily add the current days DealDotCom deal to your profile so you can always see whats being featured and maybe even earn an affiliate commission or two. To get started simply follow the below steps.
Step 1: Log into your account at http://www.facebook.com
Step 2: Go to http://apps.facebook.com/dealdotcom/
Step 3: Click on the “Log in to DealDotCom” button
Step 4: Click on the “Add DealDotCom” button
Step 5: The new application is now added and next you need to modify the URL to use your affilaite URL. Click on “Click Here”
Step 6: Enter the full affiliate URL starting with http:// and then select submit
Congratulations, now you can see the DealDotCom deal for that day anytime you log in to your FaceBook account and best of all if anyone visits your profile and clicks the link and signs up, they will be using your affiliate link

Would it be possible to get a generic version of this for use on other social sites we may use?
Even a snippet of code to use as a blog side bar item or to promote only the current deal on our websites?

profitmaven, we have something that i think will work perfectly for you coming very soon. You will be able to just add a simply php or javascript code to whatever page to display it.

Not sure if it’s worked because it still says “Click Here to Set Affiliate URL”.
I’ve entered it twice and submitted it but there has been no change???
Seems a great idea but I want a confidence check that it has worked…..
