WP Cloner

October 17, 2007  Author: DealDotCom

You know the old joke where the rich guy brings a suitcase full of gold to St. Peter at the Pearly Gates and he laughs and says, "You brought some bricks for the road?" The old adage is that you can’t take it with you. This is true for WordPress, the premier blogging platform on the web. The great thing about WordPress is that it runs on your website and is therefore completely customizable. The problem is that once you find all your custom settings that you like, (fonts, layout, colors, etc…) and you decide you want to make a second blog, you have to start over from scratch, and as much as I love WordPres, the default look is just, blah.

With WP Cloner, you can take it with you. If you spent months tweaking your WordPress blog to look just the way you want, you don’t want to have to do that for a second blog, or third, or nine hundred and sixty second. With WP Cloner, you can grab all the features that you already like and go from there. You also have the power to create a template for a really great looking blog and use it to make hundreds, in minutes!.

If you’re the kind who likes to make money from their blog, which is really common these days, just think of how much money you could make with a second blog that looks just as professional. A third? Using this strategy, WP Cloner could double, triple, or nine hundred and sixty twoble your income. What could you do then? Work from home as a professional blogger? Tell your boss at your day job to shove it? It’s possible, and WP Cloner is the tool that can get you there.

So if I were you, I wouldn’t wait. If you are a blogger, today’s deal is just for you, if you aren’t, maybe you should be. Pick up a copy of WP Cloner at this super-low price while supplies last.

But WP Cloner can do more than that! Take a look at these time-saving features:

  • Create a blog "template" that allows you to easily configure all new blogs: This is a great way to save time configuring new blogs. Set up your "idea" blog with all of the plugins and settings that you prefer. I would just create an empty sub-domain blog. Upload the cloner plugin to this blog
  • Add a new plugin to all of your blogs at once: This is easily done by uploading the new plugin to your master blog and then cloning that plugin to your other blogs.
  • Distribute a plugin update to all of your blogs at once: To update a plugin across your blog network, simply upload the new version to the master blog. Make sure that this is the only plugin in the plugin folder. Then distribute that update to your remote blogs.
  • Copy theme modifications to all of your blogs at once: To modify a theme on multiple blogs, simply make the modification on the master blog. Then clone that updated template to your other blogs.
  • Add a single blog post to all of your blogs: To do this your, master blog should not have any posts. Create the new post. Then choose to clone Posts and Comments. WP Cloner will then add that new post to all blogs that you specify at the same time.

WP Cloner is backed by DealDotCom’s 30-day money back guarantee, so you really have nothing to lose! Pick one up right now and unleash this powerful blogging tool, and see what it does for your income. When you get to the Pearly Gates, tell St. Peter you’re sorry for calling your boss a weiner to his face.

Me is very new to this [bought something already though!] so a question: do the deals only last 24hours? or can I do a deal on something that was a few days ago? If so - how do I spend more money by doing that (buying something I didn’t know was on sale coz I am new \) - Minions? Anyone?

  4. andrewwilson Says:

Deals are for 24 hours or until ’stocks’ run out, whichever is first.

It pays to be quick off the mark.

  5. kiatlc Says:

The deal is only valid for that particular day, after that if you wana buy you have to visit the product’s homepage and buy at original price.

Well it finally happened, i bought this about 3 months ago at regular price. I was wondering when this would happen ;)

It is a good program and in my opinion is worth the full price for the time it saves. It is a php script and i had to set it up but that was not much of a challenge however be warned that it is not a desktop application and you will need to host this somewhere. This is a very good deal in my opinion!

when you say “create a blog template” does this mean you can also have a different looking blog theme compared to the one you’re cloning?

    Hi,

WPC doesn’t actually install the blogs right? It only updates multiple blogs that you have previously set up, right?

And… do you need cPanel for this, or will it work if I’m using DirectAdmin?

    Thx,
    John

    Hi again,

    I forgot to ask…

When cloning ‘posts’ to multiple blogs… will those posts be pinged as though you had written them manually?

    Thx again,
    John

Let me try to address your questions:

    * WP Cloner does not install blogs. It takes the settings, configuration, plugins, posts, users and the database from one blog and copies it to another existing blog. This does not require cpanel. It copies the data to the remote blogs by logging into your blog directly via http and also by logging into the server where the blog is installed via ftp.

    * Yes, new posts added to your blog will be pinged, but pinging is becoming less and less effective as far as indexing or and/or backlink generation is concerned.

Can this work if you want to copy a blog to a different server, or only on the same server?

  12. johnrowe Says:

Thank you for your speedy response.

I don’t mean to ask so many questions here, but I have yet another. ;)

On your sales letter you mention something about posting to 1 or 100 blogs. Is 100 the upper limit… or can you post to more?

And… when posting to a high number of blogs… might the plugin time-out, etc?

    Thx again,
    John

PS - To answer the question above mine… wpcloner will copy blog settings to different servers. But remember, it does not create the blogs.

  13. massautomation Says:

chrisjacobson: the point is to be able to clone a blog from one server to any server or domain. So it doesn’t matter where the blogs reside. They can be on the same server or different ones.

johnrowe: No there is no limit, I just used 100 as an example. You can post to 10,000 if you have the need to. The plugin will not time out because the function actually runs in the background. The only limit would be server resources as posting to 1,000 or 10,000 blogs would use a a bit of server resources to complete. Shared hosting accounts may not like that.

This software has not worked at all for us. It has cost us thousands of dollars in time and much more in lost sales opportunities for the new site we thought we would have up and running two weeks ago.

It doesn’t work, and WP Cloner just points fingers at our TWO, not just one, but two different webhosts, saying they have an outgoing ftp problem, and, of course, both webhosts show all kinds of evidence that it is not their issue.

We have taken two weeks, totally wasted our time, and still don’t have a new blog.

Very frustrating to spend a little money supposedly to save a lot of time, and instead has cost us much more time than if we had done it manually, And I have an employee at the end of her rope in frustration.
